Stitching Connections is an exhibition uniting the creativity of Texas artists Carolyn Brown, Sue Benner, and Pamela Nelson with the skill of women artisans from Honduras Threads. Through a process of cultural collaboration, original artworks were studied and reinterpreted as embroidered and appliquéd compositions. Each piece reflects a dialogue between photography, textile design, and painting, transformed by countless hours of intricate hand-stitching. The exhibition celebrates artistic exchange, craftsmanship, and empowerment—bridging geography and tradition to reveal how shared artistry can connect communities and expand the language of contemporary fine art.
